Harvest
All produce harvested was donated back into the community of South Etobicoke through the Daily Bread Food Bank and LAMP CHC's Good Food Market. Harvest numbers from 2016 to 2020 can be seen in the graph below:

In 2019, The GARDENS received a donation of 26kg of vegetables from the Lakeshore Environmental Gardening Society (LEGS), that were also given to our local community.
Workshops
In 2016, we offered:

8 educational community workshops between July and October to learn about gardening, inexpensive meal prep, and healthy alternatives.
In 2017, we offered:

11 educational community workshops between May and September that explored meditation and planting, cooking with strawberries, and an apple picking trip.
In 2018, we offered:

10 educational community workshops between May and September. Sessions included Family-Friendly Cooking and Cooking with Strawberries.
In 2019, we offered:

10 free educational community workshops whose topics included Wiggling Worms and Mindful Eating.
In 2020, our educational programming was delivered online due to the Coronavirus 19 pandemic:

We offered 7 interactive Zoom workshops - four led by The GARDENS, two as a guest speaker at Jean Augustine Centre's summer camp, and one held in collaboration with the Early On Centre.

We hosted 4 Facebook live streams and 1 Instagram live stream

We also created ten pre-recorded educational videos that were uploaded on our website and social media accounts.
Seasonal Employment
Every year the project provides multiple opportunities for students and workshop facilitators.

In 2016, seasonal employment opportunities included two student interns, a program evaluator, and workshop facilitators.

In 2017, two seasonal employment opportunities were created for student interns as Operations Coordinator and Education Coordinator.

In 2018, three seasonal employment opportunities were created for an Operations Coordinator, Education Coordinator, and a Supervisor position with the support of Canada Summer Jobs and Humber College.

In 2019, two seasonal employment opportunities were created for student interns as Operations Coordinator and Education Coordinator with the support of Canada Summer Jobs and Humber College.

In 2020, four seasonal employment opportunities were created for student interns with three Project Coordinators and one Education Coordinator. Special speakers were also compensated for their work.
